McCain takes 4-point lead over Obama in poll
According to a USA Today/Gallup poll released on Sunday September 7, Republican John McCain will head into the final 60 days of the U.S. presidential campaign with a 4-point lead over Democrat Barack Obama.
In a very close race for the real poll on November 4, the USA-Today opinion poll, taken Friday through Sunday, shows McCain leading Obama by 50% to 46% among registered voters.
USA Today said “McCain got a significant boost from the Republican convention and the selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate”.
